Tried & Tested Eco Products - Part 2

Watch/Laugh at 18 minutes of me (trying) to bring you some more eco product recommendations!

Hiya!

I said I’d be back with a second video, so here I am! 🎉

This time I'm going to include a list of all the products in the video and links to some of the websites. Please note: I am NOT affiliated to any of the companies mentioned in this video, but probably should be! 😉🤣

If you missed Part 1 of these (ridiculous) videos, you can catch up on that HERE.

Apologies in advance for the washing machine and other background noises, my brain of mush and the ridiculous amount of ums and ers! As well as some delightful sniffling in last 10 mins! Enjoy! 😉

Tried & Tested Products

Cotton Buds
I said in the video I would work out how many cotton buds I was getting through each year before I made the switch and it was a shocking 1,825!! Thats from using 5 a day. 3 for ears and two for make-up. Just think of all of those cotton buds washing up on a beautiful beach somewhere and get yourself these re-usable ones instead!

Last Object - Flexible, Portable, Washable and Re-usable - A simple, yet effective swap! (I’ve just had a little peek at their website and they now do cotton pads too! With a cute little case to carry them in).

Cotton Pads
The ones in this video are from Peace With The Wild - They have loads of different shapes, sizes and colours.

Toilet Roll
The Cheeky Panda -
All their products are made from fast growing (and therefore sustainable) BAMBOO. Toilet roll, kitchen roll, tissues and sanitary products - all wrapped in cardboard. They also do biodegradable baby/hand wipes and even nappies too!

Bin Bags
Revelo Heavy Duty Bin Bags -
Featured in this video - There are tonnes of different options, but I have found these to be durable, reliable and strong.

Scrub Cloths/Scouring Pads
I believe I got mine from Natural Spa Supplies - They are 100% cotton and just go in with your normal washing. They dry super fast too. They really are great!

Laundry Products - Smol.com/uk
At the moment, Smol are offering FREE trials on laundry capsules and dishwasher tablets - They really are great and so easy to order. I also mentioned that their stain remover (which really DOES work) and fabric conditioner are also lovely, but you do end up with a lot of bottles to collect and send back.

So if that’s not for you, take a look at Miniml instead, where they send you refill pouches instead (easier and smaller to collect and send back - they provide a pre-paid envelope).

Please note: One thing I will say about the other cleaning sprays from Smol is that they are not great and you really don’t need all those separate spray bottles for cleaning - All the companies just make us think we do so we’ll buy more stuff! You really just need TWO - See below.

Miniml - Vinegar & Rinse Aid
These are the two products from Miniml that I mention in the video - As you might be aware (if you watched Part 1), I’m slightly obsessed with this company, as they have so many great household products and I love the full circle refill and post back system - Absolutely ZERO waste!

Koh - Universal Cleaner & Washing up Liquid
This really is an all purpose cleaner… for surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, mirrors… everything! Why not give it a “Koh”! Sorry 🤣

Kitchen Towels
You can find the ones I have HERE, but there are loads of options - Just search “Unpaper Towels”

The END

Right, that’s it! Thank fuck for that! 🙄 It took me a ridiculously LONG time to put this post together, so I really hope it gets to the people who need/want it - If you watched/read all of this, well done and THANK YOU!! 🙏 If you enjoyed it and/or know anyone who might like it, please re-stack… share… etc… Thank you! 🤩

Thanks for reading Great Little Insights! This post is public so feel free to share it.
