Ah, Betwixmas
What a wonderful mixmas
This great little era
‘tween Christmas and New Yearer

The days stand still
Expectations are nil
The hush, so lush
Nothing a rush

A time for chocolate selections
And quiet reflections
For loafing with easing
Crackers and cheesing

Time for movies and walking
And plenty of talking
For guilt-free boozing
Reading and snoozing

The days have no name
And pass without shame
It is in factually
A time for.. Love.. Actually
