Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit burnt out, Eva, hope the break helps. Had no idea you could pause a paid subscription, so will keep this in my back pocket for next time I feel this way myself! Take care of yourself xxx
PS If you feel the urge to come back to Substack sooner rather than later, I highly recommend a Notes break rather than an overall Substack break. I've been avoiding Notes for the past week and feel SO much better. It's such a social media time suck in that part of the website, I find the slower pace of actual newsletters much more burn-out friendly
I was already staying away from notes (as much as possible 😉).. you're right it really does help to stay away.. or at least set yourself a time limit.. it is definitely the mist 'social media' part of Substack xxx
I’m sorry you’re feeling overwhelmed, but delighted that you have decided to take a break, you may have noticed I’m on one too… and once again, the world hasn’t fallen in. 😉
Rest up, reflect, and I hope to catch-up with you IRL soon. 😘
I’ve been down this path before, I’m glad to hear you are taking the time for you. Be gentle with yourself through this. Give yourself what you need and fill your cup. Big hugs
Honouring your sacred pause and also witnessing it as such an important thing to do for you. It’s inspiring to see. Sending much love. Hope you can sink into some nidras to soothe. Xx
Love the healthy modelling you’ve done here thank you. I’m looking forward to a month off in August too

Yes, it's great for relieving the guilt and (hopefully) hanging onto Subscribers 👍xx
