Today I have a poem for you, sparked by one of

’s recent SoulCircle Prompts: What would you like to release with the full moon this week?

My Response

“I would like to release the pressure I put on myself to deliver here on Substack and everything needing to be right "on time" and perfect! 🙄 It's a hobby, it's not homework! Is what my partner once said to me, which really seemed to help. 👍

Whilst it's good to have some structure or a light schedule to hold me accountable and ensure I write regularly, I want to work on releasing the rigid schedule and perfection - Particularly as it is the school holidays and I'd like to spend time (being fully present) with the children.” 🥰

The Poem - “No Moon You Say”

No moon you say
No how, no way
No moon you say
No tides, no sway

Impossible
My brain can’t fathom
Where would we gaze
Make sense of our days

No moon you say
No glow over night
No moon you say
No shimmer, no light

No sense, no circles
No howls of delight
No moon you say
No how, no way
